Saynice Gacha Coffee: Enjoy the fun of blind boxes while drinking coffee

On October 4, 2019, the design company "nendo" created its first concept cafe "GACHA GACHA COFFEE" at the Sky Gallery in Tokyo, Japan. This cafe uses a GACHA machine to purchase high-quality coffee beans, and customers complete the entire process from grinding to dripping by hand, creating a space where they can experience it firsthand and enjoy authentic drip coffee that is "freshly ground" and "freshly brewed". At that time, GACHA coffee could only be enjoyed at GACHA GACHA COFFEE, and the GACHA machine could not be taken home. However, in 2022, Saynice, a brand headquartered in Changsha, Hunan, China, launched a coffee capsule machine, allowing everyone to enjoy the fun of coffee blind boxes at home.

Saynice's coffee adopts a blind box capsule design and offers 24 different flavors to choose from, including: boutique Italian, creamy cocoa, American blackberry, summer peach, black tea, milky nuts, fragrant apple, French deep roast, pure vanilla, Yunnan sun-dried, caramel dark chocolate, slightly sour pineapple, Yunnan small grain, mysterious citrus, toffee nut, Esawaka, classic Italian, smooth cocoa, Honduras, fun hazelnut, Brazilian Cirado, boutique American, sweet oolong and slightly tipsy rum.

Each coffee capsule is a specially made 8g cold-brewed freeze-dried coffee. Through streamlined, low-temperature freeze concentration and freeze-drying technology, the water-soluble molecules in the coffee are extracted, and then finely filtered to remove impurities and retain the original flavor of the coffee as much as possible. Then it is freeze-dried at a low temperature of minus 50 degrees Celsius to fully retain the aroma and active substances of the coffee.

The difference between cold brew and hot brew is that hot brew uses hot steam to evaporate the water in the coffee beans, leaving behind a dry coffee extract that can then be ground into a powder that dissolves in hot water. However, in this process, part of the aroma will be lost, resulting in the finished product not having a rich and pure taste. Therefore, manufacturers usually use fragrances to make up for the aroma.

Whether using cold or hot water, Saynice cold brew freeze-dried coffee only needs to be added with 260-300 ml of water or milk and stirred well before drinking. You can also use different combinations like soda or coconut water for added flavor variation. In an era that emphasizes original flavor and no additives, Saynice does not add any flavors or sucrose. For people living in a fast-paced society, being able to brew a cup of pure coffee in 10 seconds is really a small happiness.
