Even if you don’t have your own factory, you can leverage the global supply chain to produce at a lower cost in an OEM factory. Tyrell is one of the few bicycle manufacturers in the world to have its own factory in Japan, able to handle everything from product development, manufacturing, sales and user support in-house. Tyrrell's top-of-the-line products, the "Made in Sanuki Line" and the "Factory Line", are assembled in factories in Japan, while the "Basic Line" is completed in factories in Taiwan.

Japanese bicycle brand Tyrrell launched the LOOX minivelo 20-inch chrome alloy frame on June 20, 2023, entering the market at a low price of 165,000 yen.
The name LOOX is composed of L (L), OO (OO) and X (X). L stands for enriching the user's life and enjoying leisure time; OO stands for wheel, symbolizing entity, using wheel as a bridge to expand fun to infinity; X is a symbol of the unknown, hoping to expand the unknown world through people and bicycles.

To create “an emotional experience that everyone can share — which Tyrell defines as the experience you get only from holding it in your hands, not from riding a bike,” it takes a lot of prototyping and fine-tuning, and without your own manufacturing equipment, it’s difficult to make multiple prototypes until you get the feeling you want.

The slanted design frame is a familiar Tyrell design signature. The frame looks elegant and beautiful. The angled design frame is not just for aesthetics. Due to its characteristics, small-wheeled bicycles require a longer wheelbase and a lower center of gravity. The traditional diamond frame has disadvantages such as reduced lateral and torsional rigidity due to the long wheelbase, and reduced head rigidity due to the low center of gravity. In order to overcome these shortcomings, Tyrell injected elements that are more suitable for market needs into the design of minivelo bicycle frames, greatly improved the riding performance, and manufactured frames with inclined designs.

Generally speaking, a typical city bike is designed to be used as a means of daily transportation and is sturdy enough to survive damage even from misuse by an inexperienced rider. But all Tyrell bikes fall into the category of sport bikes, which typically focus on lightness and riding comfort while neglecting the strength needed to withstand unexpected abuse. Tyrrell bicycles are designed to be light and strong, closer to "craftsman's handicraft" than mass-produced industrial products.

Brand Introduction
Tyrell was founded in May 2004 in the barn of founder Tokuhiro Hirose’s home. At the time, there was no small wheels bike that looked and performed as he wished, so he decided to build one himself. Out of this curiosity, I learned to build bicycles and founded Tyrrell's original "Leaning Design" with the idea of "building a bicycle that I want." The bicycles manufactured using a unique method are "light, easy to ride, and beautiful in appearance", attracting bicycle enthusiasts around the world. In September 2015, Hirose opened its own factory. He personally participates in every detail from development concept, frame design and even front-line communication with users, in order to inject elements that are more suitable for Tyrell Bike and meet market demand.
