When the glass is lifted, the entire coaster will rise up, which is likely to happen quite often no matter which coaster you use. This usually happens when the material is cloth or paper, and the water droplets on the glass will eventually soak the coaster.

Because "There are many situations where you may encounter difficulties using coasters!" This "THE COASTER" coaster was designed by Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten.

Initially THE COASTER was only available in white, but to enable a wider range of uses, two new colors have been added: chic and modern grey and vibrant navy blue.

The 8.5cm square coasters match the glass perfectly, they won’t stick to it and won’t look shabby even if they get wet. They stay beautiful no matter how wet they get and are perfectly balanced with the glass. It looks like it's simply made by gluing small tiles together, but in fact, to maintain its durability, it is made from a mold designed specifically for this coaster by Nagoya Mosaic Tile Co., Ltd.
