TNT TV Series "Will" allows viewers to think about Young Shakespeare's life from another perspective

The 2017 TV series "Will" produced by Turner Network Television (TNT) in the United States quotes William Shakespeare brilliant sentences more naturally than any TV series I've ever seen. Although it only has one short season and ten episodes, each episode is full of Shakespeare's nourishment and subverts the public's previous description of Shakespeare, making "Shakespeare" once again a topic worth thinking about. The series is based on William Shakespeare early career as a playwright, telling the story of Shakespeare, a glove maker,'s journey in London in pursuit of his dream, and how he met Christopher Marlowe, the most famous playwright in London at the time. Christopher Marlowe, how he joined a theater troupe to write scripts, how he went from being a writer to an actor, and how he rose to the upper class of society. Does it matter who wrote Hamlet, Macbeth, or Romeo and Juliet? Our fascination with artists obscures art, but the story of Shakespeare himself will always fascinate us, because we want to know what kind of environment, what kind of opportunity, what kind of gift from God could give birth to such a great man.

William Shakespeare | We know him as a husband, a father, a businessman, an actor, a politician, and a Catholic. Eighteen-year-old Shakespeare married Anne Hathaway, who was eight years older, and two years later they gave birth to twins. There is very little historical record of Shakespeare until he appeared in a theater troupe in London in 1592. Because of the absence of this period, some scholars refer to the period from 1585 to 1592 as Shakespeare's "mysterious years."

"Will" fills in the gaps in the history of this lost period and, like any historical fiction worth digesting, is based on real facts, London and theatre life, Catholic testimony, while his vision of history and his operatic depictions were often tailor-made to appease the Tudors. The "variations" that "Will" makes on history do create a colorful and fascinating drama, using a lot of contemporary slang, allowing the audience to recognize the poetry of British culture and think about Shakespeare's inspiration from a different perspective.

Shakespeare's famous work "Edward III" appeared in the first episode of "Will". Shakespeare, who went to a London theater to seek a screenwriter job, met the daughter of the theater owner and was asked to act the content of the script for consideration. A few cuts were made from the original text, which increased the tension in the TV series. If you find it difficult to read Shakespeare's works, this series of TV series can also provide you with some nourishment from Shakespeare.
