The factory is located in Tai Kok Tsui, Hong Kong and still insists on being made in Hong Kong. With more than 50 years of experience, excellent craftsmanship and unique patented technology (the technology has obtained innovative patents in the United States and the United Kingdom), it was very common in Hong Kong and has been popular in Japan, Taiwan and Europe. TWEMCO's clocks are definitely not "fashionable items". They all use high-torque German quartz movements with an error of less than 1 second per month. The square housing with rounded edges consists of an injection-molded ABS shell and a clearly visible acrylic glass cover, while the mechanism’s high-precision digital numbering plates are produced by a Japanese supplier, and the clear white numbers and letters on the black flip-page plate have been used for more than 50 years. The clocks are processed and assembled in our workshop in Tai Kok Tsui, Hong Kong to ensure a high degree of accuracy, durability and quality. The Business Series and Home Office Series are equipped with an alarm clock and a perpetual calendar. Simply put, there are 365 days in a year, and the perpetual calendar is designed to include the 366 days of a leap year. In other words, this small device must operate at least 365 x 4 + 1 days to realize the function of the perpetual calendar. The clock is a timekeeping instrument invented in Europe in the 14th century. It has gradually shrunk in size and evolved into pocket watches, wall watches, and wristwatches. The watch industry in Europe and the United States has a history of hundreds of years. Since the 19th century, Switzerland has become the watch kingdom, producing famous brands of mechanical watches to the global market. Hong Kong's watch industry has flourished since the 1930s. In the late 1960s, Swiss movements were supplied to Hong Kong in large quantities, and watch assembly production became the mainstream of Hong Kong's watch industry. From 1968 to 1974, the export volume of Hong Kong-made watches increased by about five times. By 1992, watches manufactured in Hong Kong accounted for 70% of the global supply and were one of Hong Kong's four major export products. However, as time went by, after 1985, the watch industry moved northwards. Early Hong Kong businessmen mainly opened factories using the processing-on-commissioned-materials model. Mainland factories were responsible for production or assembly, and the finished products were shipped back to Hong Kong for packaging and export. Many watch factories entered a business boom after moving north. In the early 1990s, most watch manufacturers in Hong Kong ended their local production lines. As factories in the Mainland developed more and more soundly, relevant departments also gradually moved north. Gradually, Hong Kong's glorious watch industry was forgotten, and only family brands with excellent quality remained.
